Back in June of last year, WWE held another round of cuts from the company and it included several big names. This also included Fandango, who was a veteran in the company.

Fandango’s career peaked during his WrestleMania 29 match against Chris Jericho, where Jericho put him over. The company didn’t use him well after that, despite The Fashion Files being a success.

While speaking on Café De René with Rene Dupree, the current Dirty Dango talked about his feud with Chris Jericho. Dango stated that he understood why Jericho didn’t want to wrestle him in the first place.

“Maybe Vince just doesn’t know because he’s probably still discussing it with Chris,” Fandango said. “I feel like there was a little tension there. I think Chris was supposed to work Ryback or somebody else, and then maybe a month or a month and a half out Vince kinda threw the Fandango thing at him, so I can see where he was a little irked with the whole angle.”

Dirty Dango will be making his return to pro wrestling television soon as well. We will have to wait and see which pro wrestling company he will call his home next.
