Chris Benoit was one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. He made his mark all over the world in various pro wrestling companies.

Benoit arguably had his greatest rivalry with Kurt Angle. The two had several classic matches together, including at Unforgiven 2002.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Angle revealed that Benoit didn’t like their match as it felt edgy to him.

Yeah [he was upset]. You know what? When you are a perfectionist like Chris Benoit, sometimes things didn’t go the way he wanted them to go. They weren’t smooth; they were a little rough and edgy.

Angle also doesn’t want to erase Chris Benoit from pro wrestling. Angle will always respect Benoit and that’s unlikely to ever change.
