Chyna was a force to be reckoned with during her time in WWE in the late ’90s. She found great success in the company, breaking down several barriers for female wrestlers. Sadly, she passed long before her accomplishments could be recognized.

The modern day women’s division in WWE is very different compared to what it used to be back in the day. Shawn Michales has seen the evolution in the business in a big way.

While speaking with The New York Post, Shawn Michaels stated that he believes Chyna wouldn’t have been a trailblazer in modern day WWE.

She would certainly have an incredible career — but I don’t know that she’d be the trailblazer today that she is if she were currently doing it today.

Chyna will forever be remembered as a trailblazer for women’s wrestling in WWE and her contributions will never be forgotten, long after her untimely passing. With Triple H as the head of WWE Creative, perhaps she will get inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame on her own.
