Sheamus had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. He has been a mainstay of the company since 2009 and fans greatly respect him.
The Celtic Warrior worked very hard over the years and is a multi-time World Champion as well as a multi-time tag team champion. Despite being well over 40, Sheamus continues to perform at a high level.
Sheamus was unable to defeat Gunther at Clash At The Castle, but it was truly his best match to date. While speaking on WWE After The Bell, Sheamus commented on the match with Gunther, stating that it was the biggest moment of his career.
“They say Rome isn’t built in a day and success isn’t overnight, it took me 13 years in my WWE career to earn that moment and it was unbelievable. The reception I got when I went out there, I didn’t know what way it was going to go. Gunther obviously has a cult following from being NXT UK Champion for so many years, so I didn’t know what to expect. It’s a moment I’ll never forget. It’s probably the biggest moment I’ve had to this point in WWE
We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Sheamus, and what music WWE gives him along the way.
