KAIRI was one of the best female pro wrestlers that WWE ever had at one point in time. She had a solid run in NXT where she ended up winning the NXT Women’s Championship. KAIRI has now been announced for the NJPW’s IWGP Women’s Championship competition.
According to a recent announcement from STARDOM, KAIRI, formerly Kairi Hojo in Japan and Kairi Sane in the WWE, will compete in the semifinals of the tournament’s international bracket and has a first-round bye. On October 23, KAIRI will compete in a STARDOM Tag League match against the victor of Alpha Female vs. Ava White.

On Oct 23 in Tachikawa, KAIRI will face the winner of Alpha Female vs Ava, which takes place Oct 2 at NJPW Royal Quest II in London! #Stardom

The winner will move on to the championship match at NJPW X STARDOM Historic X-Over on November 20. The competition’s victor will be crowned the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion. Seven people in total will take part in the competition.
On Sunday, October 2, a match in the opening round of the international bracket between Gabbert and White will take place at NJPW Royal Quest in London. The 5 Star Grand Prix standings will select the first round competitors in the tournament’s STARDOM bracket, and they will face off on a STARDOM show on October 22. Check out the tweets below.
