WWE Wanted To Bring Paige Back After Triple H Takeover

Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2017 after a freak accident. She remained relevant in other roles for years afterwards, but her in-ring return never happened.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion parted ways with the company back in July after WWE decided not to renew her contract. After waiting a couple of months, Paige took a huge step in her career.

This is because she made her debut during AEW Grand Slam, much to the delight of fans all over the world. According to Fightful’s paywall, WWE was trying to bring back Paige after Triple H took over, but to no avail.

It isn’t known if she will end up performing in the ring or not. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how she will be booked in the coming weeks.
