WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release and is unlikely to ever will, but crazier things have happened. He is truly one of the greatest wrestlers to have competed in the sport as well. That being said, he might have a means to come back.

Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches. This is because he worked with the top pro wrestlers the business had to offer.

While speaking on The Wrassingh Show, Kurt Angle was asked if taking a deal with AEW would jeopardize his relationship with WWE. Angle noted that he has a WWE Legends contract, and he believes working with AEW would negatively affect his relationship with WWE. Angle also revealed that he might have a role at WrestleMania 39.

“They’re talking about maybe me doing something at WrestleMania. They are always reaching out to me to help do media and stuff like that, kind of be an ambassador for the company. I like doing that. I don’t mind because I can’t wrestle anymore.

It’s just an idea. It won’t be in a wrestling capacity at all. There is nothing there yet.”

We will have to wait and see whether the WWE Hall of Famer will make his return to WWE television next year at WrestleMania 39 or not.
