Konosuke Takeshita Is Planning Return To USA

Konosuke Takeshita is extremely fond of the American chain of baked goods, Cinnabon. Their love story is one of pro wrestling’s most popular ones, and it looks like they’re going to turn a page in their story really soon.

Takeshita was in the U.S. for the majority of 2022. He spent time participating in many indie promotions as well as AEW. The star also spent a lot of time weaving his love story with Cinnabon.

The star went back to Japan to compete for DDT Pro Wrestling, which is his home promotion. Before he comes back, he’s going to face off against Kazusada Higuchi to secure the KO-D Openweight Championship.

POST Wrestling reported that the star would come back to the U.S., and Cinnabon replied they’ll see each other soon. The star replied to Cinnabon’s tweet, saying that he wishes he could see them in Japan as well.

Takeshita was competing under the AEW banner back in Japan as well when he took part in AEW Fight Forever Tokyo Game Show event. He has expressed before that he wants to live in the U.S. while wrestling.
