Tony Khan Confirms Saraya’s AEW Signing

Paige was a top star in the women’s division of WWE until a series of unfortunate injuries derailed her momentum. Paige was forced to retire from active in-ring competition in 2018. She parted ways with WWE in July 2022. Tonight, she made her AEW debut.

Paige made her shocking debut as Saraya after the fatal four-way match for the AEW Interim Women’s World Championship between defending champion Toni Storm, Seren Deeb, Athena, and Dr. Britt Baker. Saraya arrived to make the save for Athena and Storm from Jamie Hayter, Britt Baker, and Serena Deeb.

Toni Khan took to Twitter after Saraya’s debut to confirm that she has signed with the promotion. Khan welcomed the former WWE star to AEW roster. Check out the tweet below.

AEW teased a trios tag team match between the teams of Paige, Athena and Toni Storm and Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter and Serena Deeb during ‘Dynamite: Grand Slam’ tonight. We’ll have to wait to found out if that happens.
