Claudio Castagnoli put his ROH World Championship on the line against Chris Jericho in the opening match of ‘Dynamite: Grand Slam’ tonight. The match was contested under ROH rules. Jericho hit Claudio with a low-blow, followed by the Judas Effect for the week.

The Wizard celebrated his win with members of the Jericho Appreciation Society except Daniel Garcia on the ramp. For those not in the know, Garcia has been showing signs of a face turn for the last couple of weeks. The tension between him and Jericho reached a new high after Garcia won the ROH Pure Championship from Wheeler Yuta during a previous episode of Dynamite.
