Triple H Might Bring WarGames To WWE Main Roster

WWE brings NXT fans a special gift in the form of WarGames every year. The 2021 NXT WarGames was the fifth annual WarGames. It looks like WWE is planning to move WarGames matches to the main roster.

Brad Shepard recently reported about WWE WarGames behind his Unleashed paywall. According to a source close to WWE, Triple H wants to bring WarGames matches to the main roster. They could possibly bring it to Survivor Series for a show.

A source in #WWE told me Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque wants to bring War Games to the main roster for a show.

One possibility discussed was Survivor Series.

Last year, the main event saw Team 2.0 face Team Black & Gold to find out if the youth could overcome the veterans of the brand. Bron Breakker was part of Team 2.0, where his team squared off against Team Ciampa, which comprised of the NXT veterans. In the end, Breakker pinned Tommaso Ciampa for the win.

Bron Breakker also revealed that competing in the WarGames match was a dream for him as both his father Rick Steiner and uncle Scott Steiner competed in the match before. Things are going to get more interesting after the WarGames matches are moved to the main roster. We’ll have to wait to find out what WWE is cooking for WarGames this year.
