Christopher Daniels is a huge part of the pro-wrestling world, and that’s been the case for many decades. Eddie Kingston even said that he is Jay-Z of the pro-wrestling world. That only goes to show that he’s built a permanent place there.
Daniels has spent many years in the industry, and he’s worked with almost every pro-wrestling promotion that there is. Even at the age of 52, he’s still going strong with AEW.
The AEW superstar took to Twitter in order to talk about his prolific career. He says that he is pretty much “the first person to hold the distinction of wrestling for all of these great companies in their career.” With decades’ worth of experience, there’s no doubt that he’s covered all the bases.
Daniels added that he is approaching the end of his in-ring career, and expressed gratitude for all the opportunities he got along the way. He thanked his fans and everyone who supported him.
I’m pretty sure I’m the first person to hold the distinction of wrestling for all of these great companies in their career. As I get close to the end of the in-ring part of my wrestling life, I’m honored & humbled to have had the opportunities to work where I have. Thank you all!
The star recently claimed that everything is fine in AEW, despite the very public backstage feud that’s ongoing. He also explained that AEW is not a vanity project, even though that’s what public opinion is shaping up to be.
