Braun Strowman’s release from WWE earlier last year puzzled many, as he was seen as a proper star back then. He went on to compete in Control Your Narrative and was a co-founder with EC3 as well.
The Monster Among Men finally made his return during a previous week’s episode of Monday Night RAW during the fatal four-way tag team match between The New Day, Street Profits, Alpha Academy, and Los Lotharios, and annihilated them all.
He also caused carnage on Smackdown last week. While speaking in an “EC3 Answers” segment from an interview posted on Vince’s YouTube channel, EC3 answer whether he believed letting Strowman go to WWE was a mistake.
“Anything I would have put paper and signed, like we’re both smart,” said EC3. “We’re both friends and we’re both businessmen that in paper it would say ‘if so and so calls and is offering this, understand I would have to take it.’ I would have the exact same thing in mind too because you never know.
I’ll take full responsibility, I allowed outside forces to throw these things at us that weren’t ready because I am a swinging d*** b*stard and I’m like ‘I can f***ing do this,'” he added. “And with the tour, I figured it out. I could do it. We’re going to f***ing win, but you know, it laid on that, so that goes away. But also I knew there is no way this would work without funding or a sponsor, or things like that.”
Strowman had a run in with Alpha Academy on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown as well. Strowman also didn’t consider working for other pro wrestling companies after getting released by WWE. We’ll have to see how his feud with Alpha Academy will progress.
