The AEW All Out media scrum ended in chaos after CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks, verbally decimating everyone involved. It all went downhill from there.
Punk was involved in a backstage brawl where he fought with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. As previously reported, AEW has suspended everyone involved in the brawl.
Speaking on the Official Jim Cornette YouTube channel, Jim Cornette made it clear that he doubts The Young Bucks will ever work with CM Punk.
“Well, if it was the wrestling business of the old days, that would work. I don’t put it past the Cucamonga kids [referring to Young Bucks] to ‘okay it ain’t ballet and st happens’. The first potato they catch, they’ll go into fking full-fledged whiny b**tch mode and try to sue or fight or do something or other.
Tony Khan, what’s the statement that he makes then? ‘Everbody said they had made up, so despite the fact that we had a big incident that caused investigations and potential lawsuits and everything before they said they all made up and wanted to work together….that’s what we thought they were doing until so and so kicked so and so and they had another fight, now they’re suing again.”
The AEW locker room is also standing behind The Young Bucks after all the drama. With CM Punk likely out of action for around 8 months, we will have to wait and see how the company will fare without him. In the meantime, the future of The Elite remains dubious.
