Jeff Hardy is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world and no matter what, he will always have the support of fans. Unfortunately, Jeff Hardy’s personal demons have truly cost him a great idea. Jeff’s pre-trial date was pushed back once again.
Steve Carrier of Ringside News recently took to Twitter to address the fact that Jeff Hardy’s AEW return is currently the talk of the town. Hardy’s legal situation, however, isn’t over by a long shot. Jeff’s pre-trial court date was pushed back once again to October 19th, 2022.
There is a lot of talk of #JeffHardy return to #AEW over the last 24 hours. Upon checking up with his legal situation, it looks like his pre-trial court date was pushed back once again. It’s now set for October 19, 2022.
Hardy made headlines after he was arrested for driving under the influence after leaving a local Dave & Busters. It simply got worse for him after that as well. Tony Khan previously said that Jeff wouldn’t return to AEW until completion was done. Jeff also waived his right to a speedy trial, and there is wording in the documentation that alludes to the court’s plan to use video evidence against Hardy.
Fans will certainly be glad to see The Charismatic Enigma return to AEW television. A lot has happened in the last three months, so we’ll have to see what the company will have planned for him.
Will you be glad to see him back? Sound off in the comments!
