WWE celebrated the one-year anniversary of NXT 2.0 in a big way by crowning a new NXT North American Championship this week. That was not all as WWE then revealed NXT’s new logo, which was a lot like the black and gold version.

As previously noted, Triple H was not a fan of NXT 2.0’s creative direction. This is exactly why The Game decided to change the show back to its humble roots, much to the approval of fans.

While speaking with In The Kliq, Bayley was asked about the new logo. Bayley made it clear that she does not think NXT will actually change despite the rebranding.

I don’t know exactly what that means for a change. They just changed the logo back. It just felt good to see that again. But the whole roster there is killing it. I’m so proud of all the girls. I’ve been able to spend so much time there during my rehab and gotten to know a lot of the guys, gotten to know a lot of the girls. Watch them train, watch how hard they work.

So I don’t think it really matters what it’s called, whether it’s called 2.0 and it has some paint splashed on it, or whether it’s old black and gold. What they’re doing in the ring doesn’t change. They’re just making everyone proud that came from there and they’re just gonna continue to do so.”

We will have to wait and see just how much NXT 2.0 will change with a new logo and overall feel. Triple H is certainly enjoying his new powers and that’s a fact now.
