MJF & Sheamus Throw Down On Twitter

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is one of the most promising wrestlers in the current era. The superstar has made himself a must-see on AEW television and continues to be at the top of the ranks.

In a recent banter between MJF and Sheamus, The Salt of the Earth wasted little time in giving The Irish Lasskicker a taste of his own medicine. He tweeted some words that are seriously amazing.

The guy you alluded to. Stop now or I’m gonna devour you. You can rock 6 inch lifts and play top guy, but you’ve been handed the ball multiple times and fell. I’m glad you’re having a resurgence and finally figured out how to get over. It only took you a decade. Took me 1 day.

This all started when Sheamus trolled Happy Corbin’s use of scarves. MJF said this was “sad,” and that prompted a Conor McGregor animated gif asking “who the fook is you?” from the Celtic Warrior.

MJF is known for taking shots at WWE and its superstars. He even took shots at Triple H and other superstars on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It continued this week too, but the process was subtle.

MJF returned at AEW All Out as the Joker in the Casino Battle Royal match when a voicemail of Tony Khan to MJF was played to a black-out arena and then the scarf returned.

We need to see how this Twitter exchange plays out in the coming weeks. It’s a given that this exchange isn’t going to stop anytime soon. The exchange could work as an opportunity for MJF to change ships.
