Johnny Gargano Was Worried When WWE Didn’t Have A Spot For Him

Johnny Gargano was considered the heart and soul of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and more. His excellent matches and in-ring skills propelled him to the top of the NXT division.

Gargano left WWE last year and fans were very sad about that fact. After his exit, fans wondered what the future held for him. Their questions were answered after Gargano came back to WWE last month.

While speaking Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Gargano was asked if he was concerned about his spot in the company when he returned due to management changes. Gargano admitted that he really was worried.

There was always a concern. Honestly, you step away for a bit. Being, I don’t want to say an entertainer, but being someone that’s in the public eye. When you’re out of the public eye, it starts to mess with you. You start to think like ‘Man, everything’s moving on. Maybe wrestling doesn’t need me anymore. Maybe people forgotten about me.'”

Gargano defeated Chad Gable on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We’ll have to see what the company has in store for him in the coming weeks.
