Edge Out Of Action With Grade 2 MCL Sprain

Edge suffered an attack at the hands of the Judgement Day on RAW. Some thought that he would be off television for a while, and it turns out that is going to be the case.

During today’s episode of WWE The Bump, it was revealed that Edge suffered a grad 2 MCL sprain. This was determined after an MRI.

It was not noted exactly how long Edge will be out of action to sell his knee injury. Odds are this is all part of the storyline, but the Rated R Superstar could also want the time off.

Extreme Rules is October 8th, marking the first Extreme Rules to be held in October and on a Saturday. That might also give Edge enough time to recuperate from his injury and make it back for some revenge.
