Roman Reigns has been carving his path in WWE as the Undisputed Universal Champion since his return back in 2020. He has been indomitable and that is not going to change anytime soon.

Roman Reigns officially reached 2 years as the WWE Universal Champion last week, and his stock continues to rise even now. He has defeated every single challenger who stood before him.

However, Reigns’ booking has proved to be a complicated one for WWE. As previously reported, WWE plans on having Roman Reigns become a multi-year champion.

Wrestle Votes took to Twitter and reported that the company is now dealing with a complex situation regarding Roman Reigns’ booking as WWE wants two champions heading into WrestleMania 39.

“The situation (with) the world titles & Roman Reigns is ‘complex’ according to a source. They would like to go into ‘Mania season’ & WrestleMania itself with 2 champions, but they also don’t want Reigns losing AT ALL prior. I’m told HHH & co are open to all things creatively here.

Roman Reigns is also unlikely to drop his titles this year. Reigns’ next opponent will also not be an obvious choice. Roman Reigns is also not expected to wrestle at Extreme Rules, so it remains to be seen who he will end up facing next.
