The fallout of AEW All Out post-media scrum disaster brawl is still the talk in the sports world. Now the chain of events has changed one particular talent’s time off plans indefinitely.
Robert Anthony spoke on The Tyrus and Timpf Podcast and mentioned that Jon Moxley was supposed to have time off after AEW All Out. Moxley was persuaded into staying when C.M. Punk, who defeated him to win the AEW World Championship at the pay-per-view, went down with an injury and engaged in a physical confrontation with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks after the media scrum of All Out.
Anthony went further that Moxley and his family were supposed to take a fishing trip together during the latter’s planned vacation. But the suspensions of several talents involved in the fight changed the plans.
“So he’s doing good. Man, he was supposed to be on vacation. Six weeks, we were gonna go fishing, now he’s back to work. He’s not too happy about it but… Seeing him in his element, working, it’s a different beast, the way his mind works. I enjoyed his match at the pay-per-view, but yeah, he’s pissed off, and he’s back at work. He cut a hell of a promo on Wednesday, and we’ll see where it goes. A lot of negatives into positives over there, I feel like,”
Moxley will face Sammy Guevara in a semi-final match in the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions on the September 14 episode of AEW Dynamite. Let’s hope Moxley gets his deserved vacation with the family in the near future.
