WWE went through a lot of internal changes over the last few months and that is apparent by their creative direction. Cody Rhodes returned to WWE and is still getting attention throughout his injury, and more Executive Vice Presidents of AEW might follow him.
It was previously reported that The Young Bucks sent out feelers to WWE. That report was retracted by Dave Meltzer, but we have no idea why he did that. The Young Bucks are locked into their AEW contracts until 2023, but they still sent out feelers. Ringside News reached out to get some answers, and we received a lot more details on the situation.
A tenured source within WWE confirmed to us that Nick and Matt Jackson did send out feelers to WWE, but they are not alone. Kenny Omega has also sent out his own feelers, and this was going during his injury hiatus over the past year.
Young Bucks are not alone in putting out feelers to WWE Kenny Omega has had feelers out to WWE since before he returned from injury.
We will have to see what the future holds for AEW’s EVPs. The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are currently suspended from the company after that backstage brawl with CM Punk and Ace Steel after All Out. There has been no talk about Omega and The Young Bucks losing their jobs over the ordeal, but they might be looking for their own way out eventually.
