MJF worked hard to establish himself as one of the most controversial and talked about talents in a long time. The Salt Of The Earth is second to none when it comes to cutting a promo as well.
MJF made his return during AEW All Out, shocking the world. He then appeared on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which took place at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
The Salt of the Earth also mentioned going o WWE again during his promo. He also referenced several WWE employees, including Cody Rhodes, WWE co-CEO Nick Khan, and Triple H.
While speaking on the most recent episode of “Strictly Business with Eric Bischoff” on Ad Free Shows, Eric Bischoff talked about MJF’s promo and expressed concerns over MJF mentioning WWE again.
“I question … bringing up the WWE, ‘I’d rather be somewhere else.’ I get it, and he delivered it in an amazingly talented way. I just don’t know if that segment was the right segment to do that in.
Perhaps MJF was really, in his own way, personifying the CM Punk situation,” Bischoff said. “Making it his own so that Moxley could dismiss it the way he did and turn him into a … heel. … I did love that dynamic. I just wish they could have done it without the WWE references.”
AEW also has plans for MJF at Full Gear, which could see him challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title. We’ll have to see if MJF will win or not.
