The Undisputed Era made their debut in NXT back in 2017 and since then they cemented themselves as one of the most dominant factions in the history of the pro wrestling business.
Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong formed the faction that defined the past few years in NXT. Unfortunately, the faction would break up last year after Adam Cole betrayed the group.
While speaking to Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, Bobby Fish talked about the Undisputed Era breaking up. He stated that he believes the Undisputed Era breaking up was premature.
“I just think things changed and everything needs to evolve. I think we had evolved quite a bit in a very short time. Maybe we moved a little bit quicker than we needed to as far as the timing of when to pull the trigger on stuff and when not to.
The people that made decisions at this time would probably agree that we split apart premature. I think there was more left for us to do as a unit. I think that was the plan and then it wasn’t the plan and then it was the plan and then it wasn’t.” said Bobby Fish, “Then they just weren’t sure what to do. So we pulled the trigger. You learn from your mistakes.”
Adam Cole is still out of action but is expected to make his return soon enough. Bobby Fish is currently a free agent but doesn’t rule out returning to WWE.
