Vince McMahon Fired Jim Ross Many Times ‘Just For Fun’

Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself as a commentator in WWE. He has delivered some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling. He also made an interesting claim about Vince McMahon.

Ross worked in WWE for several years, which is why he knows the inner workings of the company. He has extensively worked with Vince McMahon and it has not always worked out in his favor as he has been the subject of ridicule numerous times.

Jim Ross is currently working in AEW and is also aware of how different things are there compared to WWE. While speaking on Money for Mongo, Jim Ross claimed that Vince McMahon fired him several times for fun.

“He’s fired me three or four times,” he continued. “I don’t give a s**t. When he found out I didn’t give a s**t, it made it more fun for him and he just kept firing me. But here’s the good news: He hired me back. He never hired me back for less money than I was making before I exited. So, he’s always been fair to me that respect.”

Jim Ross is certainly more than happy to be working under Tony Khan in AEW, as it is likely he will be ending his career with the company. Regardless, he will always be grateful for his time in WWE as well.
