Christian Cage To Undergo Huge Surgery

Christian Cage became one of the mainstays of AEW since debuting last year. After being a mentor to Jurassic Express, he turned heel on Jungle Boy and engaged in a feud with him. He will also undergo major surgery.

At AEW All Out, Christian Cage defeated Jungle Boy in a very short match after Luchasaurus turned heel on Jungle Boy before it all. As previously reported, this was because Cage was injured.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted Christian Cage suffered an injury similar to CM Punk and will be out of action for a similar amount of time.

“His injury may be the exact same injury as Punk (believed to be torn triceps). So we’re talking again like an eight-month-ish, six-to-nine months of being out.”

We will have to wait and see what AEW has planned for Christian Cage once he returns. Until then, Jungle Boy will have to contend with Luchasaurus.
