CM Punk remains one of the biggest names in the history of pro wrestling, especially after he joined AEW. However, his name is not necessarily seen in the best of light right now due to his backstage brawl following AEW All Out’s media scrum.
Right after CM Punk made his debut in AEW back in August last year, R-Truth took a shot at CM Punk’s entitlement. Due to this, many fans were led to believe that the two are on bad terms.
R-Truth made it clear he had no beef with Punk. While speaking in a new interview with Premier TV Live, R-Truth made it clear that he and CM Punk are on good terms right now.
“Me and Punk cool. I guess just for somebody like me with my character to come back at somebody like that in almost a negative way. It depends on when sometime I ignore s**t or whatever. But I will clap back stuff.”
AEW might also fire CM Punk after the unfortunate brawl at AEW All Out. They have already suspended everyone, but Ace Steel and CM Punk could still lose their jobs. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for the Second City Saint. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates!
