Excalibur welcomes us to the show and introduces a recap of the end of All Out and MJF’s return.

Tony Khan is backstage, he says following All Out he was forced to vacant the AEW World Title and the World Trios Title. The Trios title will be contested tonight and there will be a tournament starting tonight and ending at Grand Slam to determine the World Championship.

MJF makes his entrance, he is very excited, he hugs Taz and hugs people in the front row. He gets a mic, he is really hamming it up, “The devil is back!” He says he loves Buffalo, the last time we saw him he may have said some offensive stuff but we can all agree he didn’t mean it and he was just kidding. He loves AEW. He didn’t mean it we he called everybody stupid marks.

He knows he deserves the World title, but he isn’t doing the tournament because he already has a title shot. “MJF” chants. You need leadership and he compares himself to Moses, he will win the World title and he is better than you and you know it.

Jon Moxley makes his entrance! Moxley says MJF is full of crap. MJF starts insulting the crowd and takes off his jersey. MJF says maybe he doesn’t care about AEW or these people, maybe he just wants to use the World title as a bargaining chip and take it to a real wrestling company like his friend Cody Rhodes. To quote the greatest wrestler of all time “The Game”, its what’s best for business.

Moxley says this isn’t the time or place and he is in no mood. MJF needs to leave this ring right now. MJF takes off his shirt, teases fighting and then leaves. Moxley says MJF’s music sucks, then says he is pissed off and embarrassed because he is standing here without the World Championship. The title represents passion for this sport, for the guys and girls in the back, it represents heroes in the pandemic, the dream, to show the world what wrestling should be. The World Championship means being better than the day before, slaying demons, it represents everything he loves about this business.

“Moxley” chants. He lost on Sunday. He was supposed to be on vacation until 2 days ago… Winners always want the ball when the game is on the line, he wants the ball. He will take the shot, this is the time to be a legend.

Death Triangle make their entrance for this Trios Championship match! Orange Cassidy and Best Friends are out next, accompanied by Danhausen.

AEW World Trios Championships: Death Triangle vs. Orange Cassidy & Best Friends

Cassidy and Penta start, they trade taunts, Penta with a roundhouse kick, Cassidy with a hurricanrana, Pec runs in with a superkicks, Best Friends run in and a huge brawl breaks out. Best Friends launch Cassidy with a dive to the outside.

Fenix with a kick to the gut, dropkick, tag to Pac, Trent with a stomp, tag to Cassidy. Cassidy with a double hurricanrana, Pac with a cheap shot. Danhausen distracts Pac, Alex Abrahantes pulls him off the apron, Danhausen curses him then hits him in the balls. Pac with a pump kick, Cassidy with a suicide dive, crossbody, Tornado DDT, cover, 2 count.

Cassidy with Stundog Millionaire, tag to Chuck. Lucha Bros take him out, then Chucks fights off both of them. Penta with a Backstabber, Fenix with an assisted Splash, cover, 2 count. Trent tags in, Exploder Suplex, then Best Friends hug! Fenix with a cutter, Chuck with a high knee, Pac with a running pump kick, Cassidy with a German, Penta hits Made In Penta, Trent with a running knee strike, Fenix with a Code Red, cover, 2 count.

Cassidy hits Orange Punch, Trent hit Awful Waffle, cover, 2 count as Pac breaks the count. All 6 men face off. Death Triangle with Triple Superkicks, then Triple Destroyers, Fear Factor, Lucha Bros with double Tope Suicidas, Pac hits the Black Arrow, cover, 1, 2, 3!

Tony Schaivone is backstage with Dark Order. Jose the Assistant tris to get them to world for Andrade. Andrade walks in and Silver challenges him to a match.

Penelope Ford makes her entrance, accompanied by Kip Sabian. Toni Storm is out next.

AEW Interim Women’s World Championship Eliminator: Toni Storm vs. Penelope Ford

Chain wrestling, evenly matched. Lock up, Storm with a headlock takeover, Ford gets a leg scissor, Storm with a headlock. shoulder tackle, Ford with a cheap shot, Storm with shoulder tackles, then a baseball slide. Ford throws Storm into the steel steps.

Storm with a rollup, 2 count. Ford with a dropkick to the back, cover, 2 count. Ford with a handspring elbow, a high boot, then a facebuster, cover, 2 count. Ford with a surfboard submission, then a shot to the back of the head. Ford with a suplex, cover, 2 count. Storm dodges an elbow, forearms, shoulder tackle, boot, running hip attack. Storm hits a DDT, cover, 1, 2, 3!

The Acclaimed make their entrance. Caster starts to rap but Swerve in our Glory’s music cuts him off. Swerve says he sorry you don’t get to hear stupid corny rap jokes. “Asshole” chants. The Acclaimed as tag champions is the real joke.

Billy Gunn cuts him off, says it isn’t Swerve’s house, its Daddy Ass’s house. Bowens says they will take home to gold at Grand Slam.

Tony Schiavone is with the JAS. Jericho says he is better than ever, he has found the fountain of youth. Thats how he beat Danielson, he is the best wrestler ever, the best sports entertainer ever. He will beat Danielson again and win the title at Grand Slam. This is his locker room and nobody will take that away from him.

Sammy Guevara says he will beat Darby on Rampage. Jericho says Garcia will win, but since he decided to leave them alone at the celebration, they will leave him alone.

The TNT Champion, Wardlow, makes his entrance. Tony Nese is already in the ring.

TNT Championship: Wardlow vs. Tony Nese

Nese flexes in front of Wardlow, Wardlow with a headbutt then a lariat. Wardlow takes the straps down then hits a Powerbomb. Wardlow hits another Powerbomb, then a 3rd, cover, 1, 2, 3!

WINNER: “And Still” TNT Champion, Wardlow!

Wardlow drags Mark Sterling in the ring goes for a Powerbomb but then Josh Woods runs down to drag him out. Wardlow says he heard on the internet that he has lost it. He is the TNT Champion and it’s time to remind everybody that this is Wardlow’s World.

Bryan Danielson makes his entrance, accompanied by William Regal. Hangman Page is out next.

Grand Slam Tournament of Champions Match: Bryan Danielson vs. Hangman Page

“Cowboy Shit” chants, Page offers a handshake, Danielson refuses. Lock up, Danielson gets a headlock, Page escapes, test of strength, Danielson wrings the arm, Danielson slaps him in the corner. Danielson escapes the ring. Lock up, Danielson with a headlock, Page with a chop, Danielson gets the Romero Special then stomps on the hamstrings.

Danielson with chops in the corner, Page with chops of his own, Danielson with kicks, Page knocks him off the top rope then hits a springboard lariat. Danielson drives Page into the ringpost.

Danielson with a stomp to the elbow, another stomp, chops, Page chops back, Danielson with kicks to the injured arm. Page with a Fall Away Slam, Page with a dive to the outside. Page with a clothesline in the corner, then a DVD, cover, 2 count. Danielson reverse a Deadeye, running boots in the corner, hurricanrana, roundkick, cover, 2 count.

Danielson with Yes Kicks, Page with strikes in the corner, then hits a Fall Away Slam from the top, cover, 2 count. Page sets up the Buckshot but Danielson rolls out of the ring.

Both men trade blows, Page dodges a German, Page with a Sit Out Powerbomb, cover, 2 count. Page with chops in the corner, Danielson reverse and hits kicks, running dropkick, Hammer and Anvil Elbows, Page escapes an Avalanche Back Suplex, Page with a rolling elbow, cover, 2 count. Danielson gets a LeBell Lock out of nowhere, Page escapes and Catapults Danielson into the ropes. Danielson skins the cat and hits a Butterfly suplex into an armbar.

Danielson transitions into the LeBell Lock, Page rolls through and hits knee strikes. Both men trade blows, Page hits the Deadeye, cover, 2 count. Page misses a Moonsault, Danielson hits the Busaiku Knee, Page falls out of the ring. Page catches a suicide dive and Powerbombs Danielson into the apron. Page hits a Moonsault from the top, throws Danielson in the ring, but Danielson counters a Buckshot and gets a quick rollup, 1, 2, 3!

Stokely Hathaway’s crew is on the stage, says All Out was the greatest moment of his career. He intimidates a production assistant then punches him. Gunn Club beat him down, W. Morrissey hits him with a Big Boot.

Daniel Garcia makes his entrance as Westside Gunn sings his entrance theme. The ROH Pure Champion, Wheeler Yuta, is out next.

Lock up, Garcia gets a headlock, shoulder block, Yuta picks the ankle, into a heel hook. Lock up, they fall out of the ring.

Yuta with an atomic drop, roundhouse kick, flying elbow, cover, 2 count. Strikes back and forth, Yuta with a snap suplex, cover, 1 count. Garcia with a slap, backdrop, clothesline in the corner, back body drop, lariat, cover, 2 count. Yuta gets a cover, 2 count. Yuta with a German, then a 2nd, a 3rd. Garcia turns the table and hits a German of his own, then a 2nd, a 3rd, Yuta reverse and hits his own German. Another German, Garcia switches and hits a German, then a 2nd, Yuta with a back elbow, Garcia hits a German off the 2nd rope!

Both men trade blows, Garcia’s slap knocks Yuta down. Garcia with the Dragontamer, Yuta gets to the ropes. Yuta with an illegal right hand. Garcia rolls through and gets the Dragon Tamer, he arches back but Yuta reverse into a crossface. Yuta with a Seatbelt cover, 2 count. Garcia gets the Dragon Tamer again, Yuta crank’s Garcia’s neck, but he taps out!

WINNER: “And New” ROH Pure Champion, Daniel Garcia!

Confetti falls as Garcia is awarded the title. Bryan Danielson walks down, Yuta and Garcia shake hands. Danielson takes the Pure Title and puts it around Garcia’s waist and raise his hand. Jericho walks out as Danielson shakes Garcia’s hand and that’s how the show ends.
