AEW will return to the Arthur Ashe Stadium for the Grand Slam special edition of Dynamite on September 21, 2022. The Jacksonville-based promotion announced two title matches for Grand Slam during Dynamite this week.

It was announced that the finals of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions will take place during the Grand Slam special edition of Dynamite. For those who didn’t keep up, Tony Khan vacated the AEW World Championship during Dynamite this week.
Khan booked the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions to determine the new world champion. Bryan Danielson defeated Adam Page to face Chris Jericho in the semifinals. The winner of Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin will face Jon Moxley. Both semifinals will take place on Dynamite next week.
Plus, Swerve In Our Glory will once again defend their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Acclaimed at Grand Slam. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens were super over with crowd at All Out, but failed to beat Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland for the titles.
