Carmelo Hayes Rips Idea Of Superstars Pulling Dangerous Stunts To Get Respect

Carmelo Hayes established himself as one o the best things about the current version of NXT. His impeccable in-ring skills and athleticism helped him win over fans as well. He also dissed Ricochet recently, and this could possibly prolong their stellar feud.

Carmelo Hayes beat Roderick Strong to unify the NXT Cruiserweight and North American Championships at NXT: New Year’s Evil on January 4, 2022. Since then, his stock continued to rise.

Carmelo Hayes put his title on the line against Ricochet at NXT Worlds Collide. After a blistering contest, it was Carmela Hayes who won the match.

Grayson Waller tweeted out a photo of Bron Breakker and Tyler Bate following Worlds Collide. He also included a screenshot of a Twitter interaction between Hayes and Ricochet. Waller captioned the post to say, “This makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. All this ‘respect’ stuff to look good online is BS.”

Carmelo Hayes saw this post and commented on almost having to kill himself to get respect.

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Carmelo Hayes. He is likely going to be called up to the main roster soon enough and showcase his skills to a larger audience.
