During the post-AEW All Out media scrum, CM Punk went ballistic on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks as he completely buried them all. That was just the beginning of CM Punk’s horrific meltdown.
It was reported that Omega and the Bucks threatened to leave AEW over Punk’s scathing remarks and the backstage brawl that ensued afterward. Not only that, but Punk and Ace Steel were involved in a brawl with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. Ringside News exclusively reported that the AEW locker room is divided now.
Ace Steel also threw a chair at Nick Jackson, which ended up hitting him in the eye. According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, the AEW locker room is almost unanimously against CM Punk after the brawl.
Almost unanimously, the talent that we’ve spoken to haven’t been in favor of the way CM Punk handled things at all that evening. Even talent that typically would back Punk up either said that’s not what they would have done, or haven’t commented to us.
CM Punk’s altercation following AEW All Out has also become a legal issue. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story right here at Ringside News.
