WWE superstar Ciampa got his full name back tonight on Raw. The company showed the graphic with Ciampa’s full name on it. Ciampa was in The Miz’s corner for the A-Lister’s steel cage match against United States Bobby Lashley.
Triple H has previously explained why WWE allowed superstars to use their full names. He explained in an interview with Ariel Helwani that since Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle are going through such a real situation, then they need to add that “hyper real” factor.
WWE has already restored the full names of Matt Riddle and Austin Theory. Mr. Money in the Bank, however, prefers to stick to his last name only. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Ciampa now that he’s back to being Tommaso Ciampa.
