Christian Cage’s AEW All Out Match Was Short Due To Injury

Christian returned to pro wrestling during the Royal Rumble match last year after a seven-year-long hiatus from in-ring competition. However, he wasn’t seen on WWE television after that. Ultimately, Christian chose to go to AEW as he came to be known as Christian Cage once again.

Since then, Cage became one of the mainstays of AEW. After being a mentor to Jurassic Express, he turned heel on Jungle Boy and engaged in a feud with him.

At AEW All Out, Christian Cage defeated Jungle Boy in a very short match after Luchasaurus turned heel on Jungle Boy before the match. According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, the real reason the match was a squash is due to the fact that Christian Cage is currently injured.

Christian Cage and Jungle Boy was also short, and featured a heel turn from Luchasaurus. This helped Cage get the win after a couple minutes. This happened because Cage is dealing with an injury.

With Luchasaurus clearly in Christian Cage’s corner now, we will have to wait and see how Christian Cage and Jungle Boy’s feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
