AEW is teasing their first-ever console video game with AEW: Fight Forever. However, as the game nears its release, many complicated details about its content are coming out.
Fightful Select reports that a number of top AEW superstars are excluded from the game. The superstars no longer in the game are Evil Uno, Jake Hager, Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen), The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster), and Santana and Ortiz.
The game previously featured reigning ROH, AAA, and IWGP World Tag Team Champions Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood. However, they’re no longer in the game as well.
There are still reports that Harwood and Wheeler will be worked into the DLC for the game. It would be possible that other stars might get included too, though there are no details for that. Stu Grayson, who left the promotion back in May, wasn’t planned to be in the game even before he took his leave.
AEW talent previously went to Europe to promote the game at Gamescom 2022 convention in Germany. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is set to appear at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan. The game will be shown off to the audience present.
