Pretty Deadly Become Unified NXT Tag Team Champions During WWE Worlds Collide

WWE introduced the NXT UK Tag Team Championship during the first night of the 2018 United Kingdom Championship Tournament on June 18th, 2018. Today, the titles were officially merged with the NXT Tag Team Champions.

The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed) won the NXT Tag Team Championship from Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) at NXT In Your House on June 4th, 2022.

Jensen and Briggs, on the other hand, won the NXT UK Tag Team Championship during the fatal four-way tag team elimination match that also involved Die Familie (Teoman and Rohan Raja), Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz, and Mark Andrews and Wild Boar. The match aired on June 23rd, 2022.

WWE pitted NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers and NXT UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen against each in a fatal four-way tag team elimination match that also involved Gallus and Pretty Deadly.

Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen were the first team to be eliminated from the match. Gallus (Wolfgang and Mark Coffey) suffered the same fate a few minutes later. The two teams then brawled, which took out the referee as well.

Before Julius Creed could hit the final blow, he was taken out by Damon Kemp who turned on his own team. Kemp hit Julius Creed with a steel chair, allowing Elton Prince to pin Julius.

Pretty Deadly are now the new NXT Tag Team Champions as they unified those titles with the NXT Tag Team belts. This was quite a win, and they celebrated with Lash Legend afterward.
