Eddie Kingston was suspended after an altercation backstage between himself and Sammy Guevara. The situation reportedly stemmed from Guevara taking a shot at Kingston’s appearance. Kingston has since issued an apology and completed his suspension.
Sammy Guevara provided his side of the story after the altercation. Guevara then told fans to move on from the whole drama. The whole story continues to be a huge topic of discussion.
While speaking during the most recent media call ahead of AEW All Out 2022, AEW President Tony Khan made it clear that he wants to see Kingston and Guevara handle their issues inside the ring.
“I’m not sure. At one point, the challenge was out there, but I’m not sure. It’s something to see. Obviously, the two guys have not gotten along, and sometimes that lends itself very well to pro wrestling matches, to see people settle their differences in the ring. That’s what we would all like to see. I would be up for it if it’s something where they both wanted to sign the contract and get in the ring with each other. It takes, in this case, three to tango, and I’m there, but I’m only one of the three.”
They also squashed their beef. Eddie Kingston will face Tomohiro Ishii during the Zero Hour event prior to the show, while guevara has his own match at the event. We will have to see when Kingston and Guevara will face each other.
