Rhea Ripley worked hard to make herself as one of the top Superstars in WWE’s women’s division. She found success in both NXT and the main roster so far. Ripley is also feeling more comfortable after Vince McMahon’s retirement.
Vince McMahon retired back in July after a slew of sexual misconduct and hush money allegations ultimately forced him to leave. Since then, Triple H took charge of WWE Creative.
While speaking to Gorilla Position, Rhea Ripley revealed that she is feeling more comfortable and confident after Vince McMahon’s retirement.
“I’m loving every single second of it. Like it feels warm and I feel more comfortable and confident in myself in a way because I know that Triple H knows exactly who I am because he helped build me into the Rhea Ripley you see today. So I know that I don’t have to really fight or struggle to express myself and like show everyone exactly who I am ’cause he already knows in a way. Whereas I sort of had to prove myself to Vince [McMahon] and then since I started in the pandemic, he couldn’t tell with the crowd, how they felt about me and all that. So it was always like, not a struggle struggle, it was like we are on different pages sort of thing. Well now we are on the same page and I’m very happy.”
Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest will be facing off against Edge and Rey Mysterio, with Rhea Ripley in her faction’s corner at WWE Clash at the Castle. We’ll have to see who will come out on top. Either way, it seems that the Nightmare is enjoying Triple H’s time in charge so far.
