Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus in a “Donnybrook” match to earn a title shot against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle. The Scottish Warrior said he is two-steps ahead of The Tribal Chief as a full-time WWE superstar.

McIntyre sat down with Independent UK for an interview ahead of his high-stakes match against Reigns in Cardiff, Wales. The former WWE Champion admitted Reigns is his greatest rival since he returned to the WWE. McIntyre also revealed how he intends for the the titles to be defended.

“Roman is perhaps my greatest rival since I returned to WWE. He’s always had my number, he’s on the run of a lifetime right now. If I don’t beat him, I just don’t know who will. [But] the winds of change are blowing through WWE right now, it all starts and the top and rolls downhill. How are the titles going to be represented? I believe they should be represented on all shows, be defended at least every thirty days and I’m going to make that happen.”

McIntyre intends to bring back ‘Broken ‘Dreams’ for his match against Reigns this Saturday in Cardiff as well. He is also determined to crush Roman Reigns at Clash in the Castle in the biggest match of his career. We’ll have to wait till Saturday to find out.
