Adam Cole is certainly one of the most skilled in-ring competitors in the pro wrestling world right now. He left NXT last year and made his way to AEW, which certainly made fans happy. After an injury hiatus, Cole is finally expected to return soon enough.

Cole competed in a fatal four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Forbidden Door, despite being injured before the match. The match led to him suffering a concussion as well, and he hasn’t returned to in-ring competition yet.

Mr. Bay-Bay returned on AEW Dynamite last month and got a bit physical as well, but he has been absent since then. According to the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Adam Cole is expected to be able to wrestle again by the time All Out takes place, so he could very well be the mystery man for the Casino Ladder match.

Adam Cole is expected to be healed up and ready so perhaps it’s him.

Adam Cole also isn’t going to need surgery for his torn labrum. Sadly, Cole will return without Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. Fish’s AEW contract ran out and O’Reilly posted a big tease that neck fusion surgery could be in his future. We will have to wait and see whether Cole does return during the Casino Ladder at AEW All Out, because that is a likely landing pad for him if MJF doesn’t take the spot.
