Bobby Fish eventually made his way to AEW after he was let go by WWE as part of budget cuts last year. Prior to that, he was part of the Undisputed Era with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. Now, Fish is moving on from Tony Khan’s company.

Fish had matches against the likes of Sammy Guevara, CM Punk and others. However, his booking in AEW simply did not turn out the way fans had hoped for him at all.

It was reported that Bobby Fish’s AEW contract was coming to an end. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Bobby Fish is done with AEW.

That sounds right, because he started in October, but it’s not probably — he’s done. It’s confirmed, he’s done. Whatever the deal was, either he was not offered a renewal or he chose not to be renewed. He said some things. He had complained on his podcast about not getting enough matches.

Meltzer also noted how AEW teased a feud with The Young Bucks and Fish & O’Reilly, but nothing ever came of it. Regardless, we’ll have to see whether Fish will return to WWE again now that Triple H is the head of Creative. It seems that AEW has already lost this undisputed talent.
