AEW President Tony Khan is very passionate about pro wrestling and that is without question. However, Khan has the tendency of saying some very bizarre things that make fans question his sanity. Eric Bischoff lambasted Khan again recently.
As many people are aware by now, Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff do not necessarily have the best of relationships. The two had a falling out last year and it has truly spiralled out of control now.
While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff shared his take on Tony Khan’s on-screen character. Bischoff did not mince words as he simply told Khan to quit trying to get himself over.
“Quit trying to get yourself over Tony. You’re not good on television. The less you see a red light in a camera, the better your product will be. … He’s the CEO, head booker, whatever he is. He’s got about six titles, so yeah, he’s an important person. But, this is not about you, Tony, it’s about your talent. And the more you’re trying to get you over, the less your talent’s getting over. … Tony Khan does not need to be tweeting 15 times a day. Less is more, Tony. Make people want to hear from you, not turn away.”
Eric Bischoff also recently blasted Tony Khan for his lack of leadership skills. By the looks of it, it seems it ish highly unlikely Bischoff and Khan will be able to mend fences anytime soon.
