Butch Says ‘Gunther’ Is A Stupid Name

Butch and Gunther are no stranger to each other and have crossed paths on multiple occasions. Butch, formerly known as Pete Dunn, dropped the NXT UK Championship to Gunther, then known as Walter, at NXT TakeOver: New York. It was the beginning of Gunther’s record setting title reign.

Both superstars had a stint in Triple H’s version of NXT as well. Now they are once again on the same brand, SmackDown. The two superstars shared the same ring during the latest edition of SmackDown. While Gunther and Sheamus stared holes into each other, Butch jumped on Ludwig Kaiser.

The former NXT UK Champion recently made fun of Gunther’s name, calling it stupid. Butch and Ridge Holland will be in Sheamus’ corner for The Celtic Warrior’s match against Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash at the Castle. Check out the tweet below.
