All Elite Wrestling has seen a few major complaints from fans since their inception in 2019. One of the most frequent is the lack of women’s matches on Dynamite and Rampage. Typically, the women’s roster is limited to one match per show. Many have also noted that they’d like to see a broader array of talent featured. Those fans might get their wish soon enough.
AEW is always looking to do things that fans will like. As previously reported, AEW was working on a women’s show. That sparked a conversation on whether the company needs another show.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW is serious about the new AEW women’s show, but it has yet to happen. That being said, everything is in place to get the ball rolling whenever Tony Khan gives the go ahead.
When it’s official, it’s official. They took out a trademark, it’s serious. But, nothing could materialize from it. It’s an idea that they feel strong enough to trademark it, when it happens there will be an announcement.
We will have to wait and see when AEW will be introducing their new women’s show to the world. Obviously, their women’s division could use the focus, but they also have a lot of members who need the experience as well. Fans would love to see it happen, but the jury is still out on how the company’s critics will receive it.
