WWE Superstar Suffers Possible Injury During SmackDown

WWE is heading to the UK for Clash at the Castle, so they filmed next week’s episode last night. You can click here for those SmackDown spoilers. Sadly, an injury took place during that large show.

Nikki A.S.H has largely been involved in the tag team scene after losing the RAW Women’s championship. She was part of the women’s tag team tournament recently as well.

This week on SmackDown, Nikki A.S.H and Doudrop took on Sonya Deville and Natalya, Dana Brooke and Tamina, and Xia Li and Shotzi in a four-way second chance WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament match. In the end, Nikki did not finish.

During the match, Brooke superplexed A.S.H from the middle rope onto a pile of wrestlers at ringside. Nikki’s foot hit the barricade during the spot, which seems to be when she suffered an injury.

The ending saw Deville toss A.S.H inside the ring and quickly pinning her. Following the match, Nikki was checked out by the WWE medical staff before Doudrop helped carry her to the back.

As of this writing, we have not heard any definite report of Nikki ASH’s injury. We are obviously hoping for the best.

Nikki and Doudrop were arguing in the background of a Sonya Deville promo segment later in the show, and Nikki seemed fine. However, this might have been taped before the match. We will keep you updated on her status right here at Ringside News.
