WWE SmackDown is taking place tonight in Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The company’s Clash at the Castle is just around the corner, and things are getting interesting as we head towards tonight’s weekly episode of Friday Night Smackdown. The lineup for tonight’s WWE SmackDown has received two additions.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will feature a match between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn. The New Day will also make a debut in this show. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods would make their first appearance since being eliminated by The Viking Raiders four weeks ago.
McIntyre will face Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle on Saturday, September 3. During the Viking Raiders’ assault on The New Day last month, Woods’ leg was specifically targeted and crushed inside of a steel chair.
The Viking Raiders performed a “Viking Funeral” for The New Day on last week’s SmackDown. JBL is also set to make a special appearance on tonight’s show. Ronda Rousey’s suspension is supposed to be lifted on the second show. Check out the updated lineup below.
