AEW held a 12-woman tournament to crown their inaugural TBS Champion. Jade Cargill won the tournament by defeating Ruby Soho in the finals on the January 5th, 2022, episode of Dynamite. Her next title defense was made official during Rampage this week.
Jade Cargill and The Baddies appeared during a backstage interview. Leila Grey interrupted Jade and got verbally bashed. Jade then said she’ll see Athena for the title at All Out. The challenger and the champion got into a brawl as the cameras faded.
As previously noted, Jon Moxley versus CM Punk is still the planned main event for All Out. Mox squashed Punk to unify the titles this past week on Dynamite. AEW aired the exclusive backstage moments of Punk after he lost the title during Rampage this week.
All Out will take place in Chicago on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The pay-per-view event will coincide with WWE’s Worlds Collide premium live event. You can check out the updated lineup for All Out below.
