Patrick Clark was one of the favorites to win the sixth season of WWE Tough Enough, but was eliminated in the fifth round. Despite the elimination, Clark ended up signing a developmental contract with WWE and was given the ring name Velveteen Dream. What followed was a tale full of controversy.

Velveteen Dream became a mainstay in Triple H’s version of NXT. He even won the NXT North American Championship. His career on the black and gold brand came to an end because of several harassment allegations that spawned during the #SpeakingOut movement.

Dream started using his real name after WWE exit. He was booked on and pulled from an indie event as well. The 27-year-old recently took to Instagram and posted several pictures of himself along with a cryptic message.

Dream changed up his look in the photos that he posted for the internet wrestling community to see. The former NXT superstar last posted on Instagram on January 3, 2021. Read the caption below.

Dream previously stated that he wants to work in NXT as well, but there is doubt that Triple H will hire him, because of all the allegations that derailed his career in the first place.
