Thunder Rosa Leaves Social Media Amid Injury Hiatus

Thunder Rosa seems to be in a lot of trouble these days. First, she had to relinquish the title due to injury. Then, reports came out about her having real-life heat with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. Now, she’s decided to take a break from social media as well.

The official Thunder Rosa Twitter account sent out a tweet on Thursday, noting that the former AEW Women’s Champion is taking a break from social media. The tweet carried the signature of Rosa’s social media editor, Tony Allen. You can read the entire tweet below.

As previously reported, Rosa is dealing with a severe disc issue in her back that she had been trying to push through for a while. It was said that Rosa hid in the bathroom to protect herself from getting jumped after she inadvertently broke Hayter’s nose during their Battle of the Belts III match.

AEW will find her replacement during the fatal four way match between Baker, Hayter, Toni Storm, and Hikaru Shida for the Interim Women’s World Championship at All Out on September 4th.
