Jon Moxley Takes Shot At Vince McMahon & WWE After AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and took no time in becoming one of the company’s mainstays. He is also never afraid to say whatever is on his mind.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, The Purveyor Of Violence squared off against CM Punk in an AEW World Title unification match. Moxley decimated Punk in under three minutes to become the undisputed AEW World Champion.

After AEW concluded the tapings for this week’s Rampage, Moxley and Bryan came out to address fans at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland. According to PW Insider, Moxley cut a promo where he talked about his greatest wins, including his win over CM Punk.

Moxley then told the audience to tell their friends to check out AEW programming if they were watching “that Monday and Friday night crap,” referring to Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown.

Moxley then took a shot at Vince McMahon while giving props to Claudio Castagnoli. Moxley referenced McMahon’s opinion of the former Cesaro from 2014, where he said that Cesaro lacked the ‘IT’ factor to be a star in WWE. He praised Claudio for ignoring “some old crazy man’s” thoughts on who he was to become the ROH Champion.

We will have to wait and see how Jon Moxley will be booked as the AEW World Champion. With AEW All Out right around the corner, it seems they already have an opponent in mind.
