CM Punk debuted last year at AEW Rampage: The First Dance and instantly became a huge draw for the company. He worked with several top stars since then, including Jon Moxley. Now, it seems even after their short AEW World Title match, Punk vs Moxley is also still the planned main event for AEW All Out.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk faced off against Jon Moxley in an AEW World Title unification match. Shockingly enough, CM Punk was squashed in under three minutes, and Moxley won the match.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the planned main event for AEW All Out is still going to be Punk vs Moxley. It’s anyone’s guess when they will announce that rematch.
It is Punk and Moxley, I don’t know if they’ll add stipulations, but that is the main event. It should be announced and they should get a promo from Punk out as soon as possible.
Tony Khan wanted a shock result for the title match, and he certainly got that with Moxley squashing Punk on AEW Dynamite. We will have to wait and see how their feud is booked as we approach AEW All Out on September 4th.
